Bouldering Project's mission is to foster meaningful human connection with the most inspiring and inclusive climbing, movement, and community spaces. We care deeply about humans. We're driven by the pursuit of better. We create joyful places and pathways for climbing, fitness, yoga, and social experiences that inspire people to challenge themselves and engage in a lifestyle centered around health, friendship, and purpose. Necessary Duties Supports and builds the DCBP community. Builds a personal training clientele to include personalized one-on-one and creative and safe small group training. Demonstrates clear explanations and exercise material with proper form and technique. Develops encouraging yet professional relationships with members and provides motivational support and guidance. Follow up with each client in a timely manner and on a regularly scheduled basis. Operates all equipment properly and promptly reports any problems. Performs consultations with new members. Follows all DCBP policies, emergency protocols, rules, regulations, and procedures Attends necessary training and meetings, as scheduled. Participates in DCBP Community events

Four-year degree in Exercise Science or related field preferred. Nationally accredited certification (preferred:
NSCA, ACSM, NASM, ACE
) Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification required Possess an outgoing, knowledgeable, encouraging, and driven personality as well as an inclusive attitude Assess clients' individual fitness levels and provide and monitor thoughtful and safe workouts with the intention of achieving the goals set by the client. Ability to provide accurate cueing and observe participants using proper exercise techniques, noting that everyone is different. Ability to create and monitor safe and effective exercise programs for individuals, as well as recognize a member's potential and limitations Must be flexible, reliable, dependable, honest, and diligent Possess mature judgment, sound decision-making, clear and effective communication skills Be a team player, even when only working one on one with a client. Must be observant, safety conscious and able to react calmly and quickly in an emergency.
