Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Yoga Teacher to join our wellness team. As a Yoga Teacher, you will lead and guide students through various yoga practices, helping them enhance their physical strength, flexibility, and mental well-being. Your primary responsibility will be to design and conduct safe and engaging yoga classes that cater to the diverse needs and skill levels of participants.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver well-structured yoga classes that align with the goals and level of participants. Instruct students in various yoga poses, breathing techniques, and meditation practices. Provide clear and concise guidance on alignment, safety, and modifications during sessions. Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that fosters a positive and supportive environment. Monitor and adapt to individual student needs, offering personalized adjustments and modifications. Educate participants on the physical and mental benefits of yoga, promoting a holistic approach to wellness. Stay updated on current trends and developments in yoga and wellness to continuously enhance your teaching approach. Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold the studio's values and standards. Assist in promoting classes and events to attract and retain students. Complete cleaning procedures after each class
Qualifications:
Certification from a reputable yoga teacher training program (200-hour minimum). Proven experience teaching yoga classes to individuals or groups. Strong understanding of yoga principles, anatomy, and philosophy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Empathetic and patient nature, with the ability to connect with students of all backgrounds. Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering consistent and high-quality instruction.
Preferred:
Additional certifications in specialized yoga styles (e.g., Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, etc.). Experience in leading workshops, retreats, or special events.
