The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience teaching Mat Pilates. Bonus if you can teach multiple styles. Must be able to explain and demonstrate exercises, provide modifications and progressions in a way that is digestible to first time students and beginners. Our teachers have a positive attitude, are team players, are tech savvy, and have a passion for teaching. Currently seeking yoga, pilates and fitness instructors in Fort Lauderdale for beach and outdoor sessions with our private group clients. Classes will mostly be 60 minute sessions, with groups of 6-15 people.

SFL Yoga & Wellness is a teacher owned and lead mobile yoga and fitness company. We provide studio quality classes and workshops at our clients place of convenience. SFL Yoga & Wellness was founded in 2019, we travel across South Florida providing our clients with high quality fitness classes and workshops, whether it's a one time class for a special event, monthly corporate workshops, or weekly one-on-one privates.

REQUIREMENTS

At Least 2 years of experience teaching group classes, and demonstrate effective group class instruction Certification in your respective fitness style Must provide mats, Arrive 20-10 minutes early to the session depending on the location. Punctual, reliable, and dedicated, tech savvy, quick response times. Availability on at least one day between Friday, Saturday, and Sunday between 8am-2pm This is when classes are mostly held, this will NOT be your weekly schedule. Must be available to audition either via video conference or by video submission Must have reliable transportation and a portable speaker Must be able to lift 30lbs Attend meetings outside of class hours when needed Ability to use email, and invoicing software, smart phones, and google calendars

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide customized pilates classes for private groups Instruct clients using proper form, safe methods, and modifications Ability to teach to multiple level classes including modifications and progressions Ability to give modifications to pregnant students Provide the client with photos before, during, and after the session Create a specialty playlist if requested Other duties as assigned Pay for street parking depending on location

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

This position is on-call meaning it is an as needed position and you won't have a set schedule. There are opportunities for tips by the clients that are 100% for you to keep. Possible higher pay depending on the session
