Job Description
Job Overview Job Overview Elite Academy of Music and Motion is seeking an enthusiastic, certified Part-Time Yoga & Fitness Instructor who is excited about more than just teaching classes—we're looking for someone who wants to help build a thriving wellness program within our growing academy. Our academy serves over 350 students in music, dance, theater, visual arts, and other enrichment programs. Every day, parents, grandparents, and adult family members spend time waiting while students are in lessons. We see an exciting opportunity to offer meaningful fitness and wellness classes that allow adults to invest in themselves while their loved ones learn. In addition, we would like to develop a senior and adult fitness program that suits the needs of the general public in our area. If you're entrepreneurial, creative, and passionate about building community, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do Teach yoga classes for children, teens, and adults. Lead beginner-friendly fitness and wellness classes. Offer one-on-one personal training sessions. Help develop new group fitness programs based on community interest. Create a welcoming environment for students of all ages and fitness levels. Collaborate with academy leadership to expand our wellness offerings. Participate in occasional community events and open houses. We're Especially Interested In Candidates Who... Hold a current Yoga Instructor certification (200-hour RYT or equivalent preferred). Have experience teaching both children and adults. Have personal training certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, or similar) or relevant fitness experience. Enjoy creating new programs and thinking outside the box. Are friendly, dependable, and professional. Love working with families and being part of a positive community. Have CPR/First Aid certification (or are willing to obtain it). A Unique Opportunity This position offers the opportunity to grow beyond a traditional instructor role.
