Full-time (typically 35-45 hours per week) About Alloy Alloy Personal Training is one of the most established and respected personal training systems in the industry, helping adults build strength, improve health, and maintain an active lifestyle through small group personal training. We're opening a new studio in St. Johns and are looking for a Head Trainer to help launch the business, coach members, and create an exceptional client experience from day one. This is not a big-box gym position. Alloy specializes in highly personalized coaching in a professional, relationship-driven environment. Our members are primarily adults who value expert guidance, accountability, and long-term results. About the Role This is more than a coaching position. We're looking for someone who wants to build a career in the fitness industry, not simply work another training job. As our Head Trainer, you'll help launch a brand-new Alloy studio, coach members, contribute to studio growth, and develop leadership skills that can create future opportunities within the business. If you're passionate about fitness, enjoy helping people change their lives, and want to be rewarded for helping grow a successful studio, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do Coach small group personal training sessions (maximum 6 clients per session) Deliver a professional, welcoming, high-energy member experience Conduct onboarding and goal-setting conversations with new members Build strong member relationships that drive retention and long-term success Participate in membership consultations and prospective member conversations Support studio scheduling, operations, and daily workflow Help create a positive culture and strong community within the studio Assist with launch activities and studio growth initiatives Compensation & Growth $24.00 per hour starting pay Expected first-year earnings of $55,000-$70,000+ including performance bonuses Monthly and quarterly performance bonus opportunities Bonus structure tied to studio growth, member retention, and overall business performance Leadership growth opportunities as the business expands Opportunity to help shape the future of a new Alloy studio Who Will Thrive Here Someone who is passionate about fitness and helping people improve their lives Someone who enjoys leading a room and connecting with people A coach who genuinely cares about client success A professional who is reliable, organized, and punctual Someone who takes ownership and doesn't need constant supervision Someone excited by the opportunity to grow with a new business Someone comfortable discussing fitness goals and helping prospective members determine if Alloy is the right fit Qualifications Personal training or small group coaching experience preferred Personal Training certification preferred CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain before start date Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Sales experience is helpful but not required Why Join Us Many fitness professionals enter the industry because they love coaching, only to discover there is limited opportunity for growth. We're building Alloy St. Johns differently. We're looking for a coach who wants to make an impact, grow professionally, and participate in the success of the business. Along with hourly pay, you'll have access to performance-based bonus opportunities tied to studio growth and member success. Rather than creating programs from scratch, you'll be trained to deliver a proven coaching model that has helped thousands of adults achieve lasting results. You'll receive support, education, and clear systems that allow you to focus on what matters most—coaching clients, building relationships, and creating an exceptional member experience. As the studio grows, so will the opportunities for leadership, responsibility, and compensation. If you're passionate about fitness and excited by the idea of helping build something from the ground up, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.
