Substitute Senior Fitness Instructor GOAT Exercise Atlanta, GA Job Details Contract $30 an hour 19 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Certified Personal Trainer CPR Certification Customer service Teaching AED Certification Full Job Description The Substitute Fitness Instructor uses specialized educational experience and training in combination with independent judgment to ensure quality in customer service and instructs senior group exercise classes. The Senior Fitness Instructor is energetic, personable, and creative. Essential Duties Teaches group exercise classes onsite; adheres to appropriate safety guidelines while keeping classes inviting, engaging, and challenging Establishes an ongoing positive and professional rapport with participants Demonstrates work ethic, customer care, and attention to detail Education Degree in a health-related field preferred Six months to one year of experience in the field preferred Ability to teach basic group fitness classes Certifications ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist preferred Group Fitness Instructor or related certification required wtihout degree Other industry-related certifications (CPT, CSCS, etc) acknowledged Current CPR/AED certification required
