Calm Crew Captain (Youth Yoga & Enrichment Instructor) The LY Studio Roswell, GA Job Details Part-time | Contract $20 - $50 an hour 13 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Free fitness classes Qualifications CPR Certification First aid Working with children First Aid Certification Group fitness Full Job Description About the Role We're hiring Calm Crew Captains—grounded, reliable instructors who can walk into a room full of kids and shift the energy in a steady, confident way. You'll lead movement-based enrichment classes that blend yoga, mindfulness, and play for children ages 2 through teens in schools and community spaces. This is not a rigid, scripted teaching role. We're looking for people who can hold structure, connect naturally, and lead a room with presence. Schedule & Availability Must be available weekday mornings and/or afternoons Classes scheduled between 9:00 AM - 6:30 PM Class lengths range from 30 to 90 minutes Willingness to travel to local schools and locations Reliable transportation required What You'll Do Lead engaging youth classes for ages 2-17 Guide movement, mindfulness, and structured play-based activities Adjust approach based on age group (toddlers, elementary, teens) Maintain a calm, organized, and inclusive environment Manage group energy with confidence and clarity Arrive prepared and on time for every session Communicate with leadership regarding scheduling and updates What We're Looking For Comfortable leading groups of children across multiple age ranges Strong presence—able to guide a room without raising your voice Adaptable, patient, and emotionally aware Reliable and professional (this matters a lot here) Enjoys working with kids of different personalities and energy levels Preferred (Not Required) Background in yoga, fitness, dance, education, or childcare Experience working with toddlers, children, or teens in group settings CPR/First Aid certification What This Role Is Not Not a babysitting position Not a performance-based or highly scripted teaching role Not ideal for someone who needs constant direction What You Can Expect Flexible, part-time scheduling Opportunity for consistent weekly classes and growth Supportive, team-based environment A role where your presence directly impacts how a room feels To Apply Please submit: Your resume A brief note describing your experience with children and leading groups.
