August 2026 Oueslati Sportschule is seeking a part‑time Youth Fitness Instructor who is passionate about supporting the physical, emotional, and social well‑being of school aged children . The ideal candidate understands adolescent development, values cultural and religious diversity, and creates an environment where every student feels respected, included, and motivated to grow. About the Role The youth fitness instructor will design and deliver engaging lessons that promote fitness, wellness, teamwork, and lifelong healthy habits. This role requires someone who can connect with teens, model positive character, and create a safe space for students from diverse cultural, linguistic, and religious backgrounds. Key Responsibilities Teach developmentally appropriate PE classes for grades 5-12 Deliver health and wellness lessons covering nutrition, physical fitness, mental well‑being, and healthy decision‑making Create a culturally sensitive and inclusive classroom environment Adapt activities to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and comfort levels Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership, and self‑discipline Ensure safety standards and proper supervision during all activities Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff Support school‑wide wellness initiatives, events, and community‑building activities The position involves lifting up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations and being physically active indoors and outdoors during instruction. Candidates should represent the organization with integrity Candidates should also have the ability to: communicate clearly and professionally with parents and students (age appropriate), provide constructive feedback to students and all involved, make and follow an organized training schedule/grading and performance matrix, share progress reports and provide weekly update/attendance, etc, deal with any additional requests that may arise during sessions, be flexible enough to adjust training/activities to maximize fun, discipline, development, and engagement. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Health Education, Kinesiology, or related field preferred Fitness instruction OR personal training certification required Experience working with school aged students Demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity; ability to honor diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and practices Strong classroom management and relationship‑building skills Ability to design inclusive activities that respect modesty needs, cultural norms, and varying comfort levels Prior experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education is highly desirable CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Preference strong coaching background ex. Soccer, volleyball, self-defense etc. Salary is determined by education, certification, and relevant experience. Schedule & Hours Part‑time: approximately 16-20hours per week Monday to Thursday & up 2 weekend days per month August to May (10 months) Paid holidays within the school year Why Join Us?
