Pilates Instructor Club Pilates DSM is actively seeking Certified Pilates Instructors, to join our growing family. We are looking for instructors confident in working with all level of clients to provide challenging, fitness-based Pilates classes in a safe manner. Club Pilates DSM has locations in Ankeny, West Des Moines, Urbandale, Waukee and soon Ingersoll! We offer blocked scheduling/shifts, the ability to teach multiple level classes, continuing education, ability to teach group classes or private sessions. Essential Duties:

Pleasant demeanor and excellent customer service skills Lead group classes, up to 12 clients, effectively and safely Ability to verbally communicate movement directions to participants Assist clients in their Pilates practice by promoting overall health, muscle tone, and achieving better posture Knowledge and ability to provide modifications to fit the needs of group and on an individual bases among class members Experience to expertly incorporate props into class flows, such as TRX, Barre, and Trigger Point modalities to teaching repertoire Willingness to evolve with new developments in the fitness industry, specifically Pilates Assist with cleaning tasks to keep studio and equipment clean Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations Must be able to bend and lift or demonstrate exercises Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Required Skills & Qualifications:

The Ideal Comprehensive Certified Pilates Instructor will have: 3-12 months of experience teaching group reformer classes. (preferred) Comprehensive Pilates Certification (e.g., STOTT, Balance Body, Peak Pilates, Club Pilates).

-250+ Hours of comprehensive training with all reformer and mat work complete. -Comprehensive Pilates Training Program (e.g. STOTT, Balance Body, Peak Pilates, Club Pilates).

Club Pilates Teacher Training:

The Club Pilates Teacher Training Program is the only 450-hour Comprehensive Pilates education program that allows for flexible pacing with a blended education format. The blended format includes in-person (practical), independent, and online learning. Our Teacher Training Program will take place over four weekends at Club Pilates Urban Loop (Urbandale). Graduates from this teacher training program will be considered for immediate hire at one or all 5 of our locations! This certificate does not expire, and it enables our teachers to teach anywhere! 95% of our graduates thrive in the Pilates industry upon completion of our program. Upon completion, participants will be able to successfully sit for the National Pilates Certification Program (NPCP) exam if they so choose.

• The Club Pilates Teacher Training fulfills global industry standards of Pilates instructor education.
• Our training program is the only 450-hour Comprehensive Pilates education program that allows for flexible self-paced study with a blended education format. The blended training format includes in-person (practical), independent, and online learning.
• Graduates will receive a Comprehensive Pilates education in all apparatus: Mat, Reformer, Jump board, Springboard, Cadillac, Chair, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, and Magic Circle.
• Participants will have access to our proprietary educational materials and the host studio facility for one year from the date of their first in-studio day.

Teachers that decide to invest in their certification can start to recoup their tuition fees by teaching in our studio(s) immediately after graduation. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER

As with all Pilates Instructor Certification Programs, our Teacher Training tuition fees are purchased by the Teacher Trainee. This is because the certification belongs to the instructor as an individual, which allows them the autonomy to take their Pilates Instructor career with them wherever they go! This is a unique opportunity to start working and paying for your tuition as an Apprentice in a multiple Club Pilates locations in the Des Moines Metro. We recognize that the cost of Teacher Training is an investment up front, but if hired, due to the generous Apprentice hourly rate, you'll be able to recoup that investment within a just few months of teaching while working toward completion of your certification, at which time the hourly rate will increase.
