Job Description

About the Role Grit Gym is a private coaching gym that works primarily with adults ages 40-70 who want to stay strong, active, and healthy as they age. Most of our clients are professionals who value structure, consistency, and guidance . This role focuses on helping people stay consistent with exercise in a calm, supportive environment . You will not be responsible for: finding clients selling training designing workouts Our systems handle those pieces so coaches can focus on guiding clients and building positive relationships. Schedule This is a consistent weekly schedule : Monday•
Thursday:
1:45 PM•9:00
PM Friday:
1:45 PM•7:30 PM The schedule is the same every week and is not flexible . What You'll Do Guide clients through structured workouts Provide clear exercise cues and pacing guidance Help clients feel comfortable and supported Maintain a calm, organized coaching environment Build positive relationships with regular clients Most coaches work with the same clients each week , allowing strong relationships and consistent progress. What Matters Most The coaches who succeed here tend to be people who: are naturally warm and approachable are dependable and organized enjoy interacting with adults of different ages are comfortable following structured systems take responsibility seriously Fitness knowledge can be taught. Professionalism, reliability, and people skills are much harder to teach. Backgrounds That Often Fit Well Many successful coaches here have come from fields like: healthcare education hospitality physical therapy clinics other people-focused roles A fitness degree is not required . Training All new coaches complete a structured onboarding process where they learn our coaching system and client experience. Certification is required within the first six months .
