We're currently seeking new trainers to join our rapidly growing team in Chicago West Loop. Our headquarters and flagship studios are based in New York City (SoHo) , Chicago (West Loop), and Los Angeles (WeHo). Successful applicants should be passionate, positive and open-minded individuals who are ready to be a part of a collaborative team. This position requires a strong ability to coach a group fitness class with hands-on corrections, music, and ability to lead an inspiring experience. Candidate must manage time, be professional, and a team player. Must be available one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) to work and a minimum of six classes weekly.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Maintain 6-15 teaching hours per week
- Ability to work at least one weekend day
- Ongoing development of studio trainer team by taking classes, execute ongoing training modules for trainer development as directed by corporate
- Serve as an expert on sequencing, client connection, alignment, motivation, music, vocals and social media to embody and model the Pvolve class experience
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure studios are meeting their projected utilization and conversion goals.
- Participate in outside continued education to keep personal skill level and certifications up to date, as applicable and advised by corporate
Requirements :
- 3+ years of group fitness teaching experience with a strong performance record
- Current trainer certification recommended from select accredited certifying bodies, with preference for one of the following NASM, ACE, or AFAA
- Experience leading successful large classes to ensure high-quality standards
- A rich understanding of safe exercise practices; anatomy, alignment, physiology and proper movement execution
- Must exemplify core values and act as a leader within the organization
- Strong communication, organization and time management skills
- Bachelor's degree in an exercise related field a plus
