Yoga Instructor

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Yoga Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of yoga practices and philosophies, along with the ability to create a welcoming and supportive environment for students of all levels. This role requires excellent communication skills, a commitment to personal fitness, and the ability to educate and inspire others on their wellness journeys. Duties Lead engaging yoga classes tailored to various skill levels, ensuring all participants feel included and supported. Educate students on proper alignment, breathing techniques, and the benefits of yoga practices. Develop class plans that incorporate elements of anatomy knowledge, physiology knowledge, and mindfulness. Provide modifications and adjustments as necessary to accommodate individual needs and promote safety. Foster a positive community atmosphere by encouraging interaction among participants. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio space before and after classes. Collaborate with other fitness professionals in the gym to promote group fitness activities, including CrossFit or kickboxing sessions when applicable. Stay updated on industry trends and continuously seek opportunities for professional development. Qualifications Certified Yoga Instructor with a recognized certification from an accredited program. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to yoga practice is essential. Experience in group fitness settings; additional qualifications in Pilates or other fitness disciplines are a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to educate students effectively. Background in sports coaching or fitness sales is advantageous but not mandatory. A passion for health and wellness, along with a commitment to personal fitness practices. Ability to create an inclusive environment that encourages participation from individuals of all backgrounds and abilities.
