Job Description

Personal Trainer:
Guaranteed Hours + No Floor Sales + Full Support Spectrum Fitness Consulting, LLC Beverly, MA Job Details Part-time $24 - $28 an hour 4 hours ago Benefits Continuing education credits Paid time off Gym membership Professional development assistance Retirement plan Qualifications Exercise Science Client rapport building Sports coaching Fitness sales Bachelor's degree Certified Fitness Instructor Full Job Description Are you craving more stability with no burnout? You became a personal trainer to help people change their lives, but instead, you're waking up before dawn, working late into the evening, and still feeling like you can't get ahead. Your day is packed, yet your income feels unpredictable. Cancellations chip away at your paycheck, split shifts take over your life, and in between sessions, you're expected to sell yourself on the floor, constantly pitching, following up, and chasing new clients just to stay afloat. No matter how hard you work, there's no clear path to something more stable, more sustainable. Something that actually feels like a career instead of a constant grind. At Spectrum, we created something different; a place where coaches earn consistent, predictable income, work schedules that don't burn them out, and never have to "sell on the floor" just to stay busy. Instead, you'll step into a true career with built-in support, clear growth opportunities, and a team that's invested in helping you become the best coach you can be. Why Trainers want to work with us: You shouldn't have to wonder what your paycheck will look like each week. As a coach, you're reliable, do great work, and deserve stability in return. That's why our full-time trainers are paid for a full 40 hours, whether or not clients are on the schedule. For part-time trainers, hours are set and predictable. Sessions are scheduled for you in advance by our admin team, and if there's ever a gap between clients, you're still paid for that time. You can finally focus on coaching, not chasing income. You got into this industry to help people, not to live in the gym from sunrise to sunset. Instead of exhausting split shifts, our trainers work focused blocks, either mornings or evenings, not both. That means you can actually have a life outside of work. And in the rare case a split shift is ever needed, we make sure you're taken care of with a full day off afterward. You shouldn't have to choose between being a great coach and being a salesperson. Many trainers are stuck pitching themselves between sessions just to stay busy but that's not the role you signed up for. Here, our administrative team handles scheduling and client flow; your schedule is already built for you so you can spend your time doing what you do best: coaching, building relationships, and delivering results. You want this to be more than just a job, you want a career. That's why we lay out a clear, structured growth path from day one. It starts with a thorough onboarding process where you learn our system, followed by defined checkpoints so you always know what it takes to reach the next level. Aside from running group sessions, opportunities like running small group check-ins, performing movement assessments, and consultations aren't just tasks, they're stepping stones in your development as a trainer. You shouldn't have to figure everything out on your own. If you're serious about becoming a great trainer, you need guidance along the way. We make it clear from the start: we want you to succeed. Through regular one-on-one check-ins, team meetings, and trainer-to-trainer workshops, you'll get consistent feedback, coaching, and support to keep improving your skills and confidence.
