Pilates Instructor

Summary:

We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and community-driven certified mat Pilates instructor to join our team at Mindful Kinections in Hopkinton, MA. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology and Pilates principles and will be committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment. As a Pilates instructor, you will be responsible for designing and leading engaging mat classes that challenge clients of all fitness levels while fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.

Mindful Kinections is a boutique fitness studio located in Hopkinton, MA offering intimate group classes and private sessions in Pilates, barre, and yoga. Our mission at Mindful Kinections is to provide informed and educational movement practices to enhance the mind body connection and nurture mental and physical wellbeing all while fostering community support/connections. Mindful Kinections is conveniently located at 22 South Street, Suite 205, Hopkinton, MA right off of 495 in Hopkinton Square.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Engaging Instruction:

  Create, teach, and lead creative, safe, and effective mat Pilates classes tailored to diverse skill levels.

• Personalized Attention:

  Offer clear and concise cueing to clients focusing on Pilates principles and safe movement practices. Supplement cueing with education backed by anatomy and physiology so that clients understand the why. Support clients with modifications or progressions to ensure that classes are attainable but challenging.

• Safety & Maintenance:

  Regularly inspect studio space and equipment to ensure proper working order. In addition, maintain a tidy and inviting studio space.

Build Community:

Cultivate a safe, welcoming, and motivating environment; greet clients by name, encourage member and community connections, and embody the studio's mission/values.

Requirements:

• Valid Pilates certification (mat and/or comprehensive to allow opportunities to instruct in Pilates chair)
• Previous experience teaching group classes as a Pilates instructor, preferred. However, will make exception for newly certified instructors with strong backgrounds in movement and anatomy and physiology (physical therapists, exercise physiologists etc.)
• Current CPR/AED and first aid certification

  $40.00
