Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Personal Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for fitness and a strong desire to help clients achieve their health and wellness goals. As a Personal Trainer, you will develop personalized training programs, provide one-on-one coaching, and foster a supportive environment that encourages clients to push their limits. Your expertise in physiology, body mechanics, and program design will be essential in guiding clients through effective workouts tailored to their individual needs. Responsibilities Conduct initial assessments to understand clients' fitness levels, goals, and any limitations. Design customized workout programs that align with clients' objectives and preferences. Provide ongoing support and motivation during training sessions to ensure clients stay engaged and committed. Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, body mechanics, and safety protocols. Monitor client progress and adjust programs as needed to optimize results. Lead group fitness classes as required, fostering a positive group dynamic. Promote health club services and programs to potential clients through effective sales techniques. Maintain a clean and organized training environment, ensuring all equipment is safe and functional. Experience Previous experience in personal training or related fields. Strong knowledge of physiology, body mechanics, and fitness principles. Proven skills in program design tailored to various fitness levels. Experience in sales or fitness sales is a plus, with the ability to effectively communicate the benefits of personal training services. Familiarity with group fitness instruction is advantageous but not mandatory. A passion for helping others achieve their health goals through motivation and support. Qualifications Current nationally recognized Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA) CPE/AED and First Aid Certified (or willing to obtain prior to start) Prior experience in one-on-one and/or group training preferred. Strong communication and motivational skills. Professional, dependable, and passionate about health and fitness. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills (Not Required) Experience working with special populations (seniors, post-rehab, youth, athletes). Knowledge of functional training, corrective exercise or holistic wellness.
