Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant fitness community as a Barre Instructor and inspire members to achieve their fitness goals through dynamic, energizing, and well-rounded classes. In this role, you will lead engaging group sessions that combine elements of ballet, Pilates, yoga, and strength training to promote flexibility, strength, and posture. Your enthusiasm and expertise will motivate participants of all levels to push their limits while ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your passion for fitness and movement in a supportive environment dedicated to health and wellness. Responsibilities Lead energetic and motivating barre classes that incorporate body mechanics, physiology principles, and functional movement techniques Design innovative class programs that blend ballet-inspired movements with Pilates, yoga, cycling, or CrossFit elements to keep sessions fresh and engaging Educate participants on proper body alignment, anatomy, and muscle engagement to maximize results and prevent injury Adapt exercises for different fitness levels, providing modifications or progressions as needed Foster a positive group atmosphere through clear instruction, encouragement, and professional coaching skills Promote health club services such as personal training, fitness assessments, or specialized programs to enhance member engagement Maintain a safe environment by monitoring participants' form and ensuring adherence to safety guidelines Requirements Proven experience in group fitness instruction with a focus on barre, Pilates, yoga, or dance-based classes Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, body mechanics, and sports coaching principles Familiarity with program design tailored to diverse fitness levels and goals Background in disciplines such as cycling, CrossFit, personal training, or sports coaching is highly desirable Excellent teaching skills with the ability to motivate and connect with a wide range of participants Certification in group fitness instruction or related fields (e.g., Yoga certification, Pilates certification) preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain relevant certifications is a plus Passion for health and wellness with an energetic approach that inspires others to move confidently and safely Embark on a rewarding journey helping individuals transform their bodies through movement!
