Job Description

Personal/Group Fitness Trainer Location:
Rockville, Maryland (DMV Area) About Us We are a leader in reaction-based neurological training, helping individuals, improve physical performance, cognitive function, and overall wellness. We work with a diverse population, including neurodivergent youth, athletes, and general fitness clients. Our approach integrates movement, sensory input, and cognitive engagement to create meaningful change. Position Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Fitness Trainer with experience working with children ages 3-15. The ideal candidate will bring both fitness knowledge and a background in supporting children learning disabilities, or other developmental differences. This role will involve leading individualized and small-group sessions using our Neural Movement methodology and training systems. Qualifications (Required & Preferred)
Required :
Experience in personal training and fitness Ability to travel to our Rockville, Maryland location Must currently reside in the Washington DC, Maryland, or Northern Virginia area Preferred (not all required): Degree in Sports Sciences, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field Background in working with children with learning disabilities, autism spectrum Certifications that are a plus: CPR/AED & First Aid Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, CPT, or equivalent) Responsibilities Lead engaging fitness sessions tailored to individual needs Work with children to improve reaction training, coordination, and focus Create a supportive, safe, and motivating environment Communicate progress and observations with staff and parents when necessary Follow training programs and methodology provided by Neural Movement What We Offer Flexible scheduling Training on Neural Movement systems and methodology Opportunity for growth and expansion within a rapidly growing field How to Apply Please send your resume and a short introduction email explaining your experience and interest
