Looking for more hands-on opportunities in your personal training career? PT in the D is a private personal training studio, recently relocated in Midtown Detroit, and looking for a candidate that is energetic, ready to train a growing clientele, a be a part of our growing team. We focus on individual and semi-private workouts (3-5 participants) with above average customer service. If you love working with individuals to achieve their health and fitness goals in a professional environment, this is for you! Who will you be training? Our target business is helping working professionals and business leaders age 35-60 achieve their health and fitness goals through consistent healthy habits and lifestyle changes. No cold calls or selling products, we focus 100% of our time working with our clients to help them be successful. What does the ideal candidate need to be able to do to flourish in this position?

• Professionalism and responsibility to being on time and prepared for every session
• Be a leader to take clients through professionally designed workout programs.
• Assist with development of social media and marketing materials.
• Bring a positive energy and attitude to each session to continue to build the community of clients.
• Participate in all staff related meetings and other required activities.
• We are looking for someone available 5-10 hours per week to start.

Position Requirements:

This is a part-time position for personal training. We are looking for a candidate with training experience of at least 2 years. Candidate should be certified in personal training through an accredited organization and/or a four year degree in an exercise/fitness related field.
