Job Description

Overview FitStop24 Grand Rapids is looking to add Certified Personal Trainers to inspire individuals to achieve their fitness goals! In this energetic role, you will design personalized training programs, motivate clients, and foster a positive environment that encourages progress and confidence. FitStop24 has the lowest personal training rates with the highest trainer split in the area, 70/30, meaning, trainers can easily attract many clients while still retaining high pay. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in the personal training field and also a drive to grow their clientele base. Duties Develop customized fitness programs tailored to each client's goals, fitness level, and health considerations Conduct thorough assessments of clients Lead individual training sessions for the most impact on clients Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, injury prevention, and effective workout strategies Promote personal training services and fitness programs to attract new clients and retain existing ones Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting programs as needed to ensure continuous improvement Maintain a safe training environment by adhering to health club standards and best practices in gym safety Experience Proven experience in personal training, group fitness instruction, or sports coaching within a health club or gym setting Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics to ensure safe and effective workouts Demonstrated ability to design diverse exercise programs that meet individual needs and goals Excellent communication skills for teaching physical education and motivating clients of all ages and backgrounds Familiarity with fitness sales techniques to promote services confidently and ethically Certification as a Personal Trainer from an accredited organization (e.g., NASM, ISSA) is required; additional certifications in sports coaching or group fitness are a plus Prior experience working in a busy gym environment with a focus on client engagement and safety Embark on a rewarding career where your passion for fitness makes a real difference!
