Job Description
Job Summary SZN Studios is a new boutique pilates and yoga studio opening up in the metro Detroit area. We are seeking an energetic and passionate Pilates Instructor to lead engaging, effective, and inspiring Pilates classes within our newly developed studio. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a studio from the ground up. You will have the opportunity to build your own client base through a combination of private training, duet sessions, small group mat pilates classes, yoga classes and small-group Reformer classes . At SZN Studios, our goal is to create a welcoming, high-quality Pilates experience focused on personalised instruction, client results, and community. This lead position offers an exciting opportunity to share your expertise and help clients transform their fitness journey through the art of Pilates. Responsibilities Lead group Pilates classes that cater to various skill levels, ensuring safety and proper technique throughout each session Develop customized Pilates programs that incorporate principles of body mechanics, physiology, and anatomy to optimize results Educate clients on core strength, flexibility, posture correction, and breathing techniques aligned with Pilates methodology Monitor participant progress and provide personalized feedback to support individual fitness goals Maintain a clean, organized studio environment while adhering to all safety and hygiene standards Promote membership growth by demonstrating the benefits of Pilates and encouraging class participation Qualifications Proven experience teaching mat & reformer Pilates in a group or personal training setting with certification in Pilates instruction preferred Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and how they relate to movement and exercise programming Familiarity with other fitness disciplines such as yoga, CrossFit, or sports coaching is a plus Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire diverse groups of participants Ability to design effective workout programs that incorporate principles of program design and health club standards Prior experience in gym or health club environments is highly desirable Passion for health, fitness sales experience is advantageous but not required Why Join SZN Studios?
