Job Description
The City of O'Fallon is looking for energetic and dependable team members for the position of Aqua Aerobics Fitness Instructor . Are you looking for a part-time opportunity where you can use your water fitness know-how and skills in decision making, problem solving and dealing with the public? Our Aqua Aerobics Fitness Instructors enjoy a flexible schedule along with a fun work environment and earn competitive pay with an expected starting rate of pay of $25.00 hourly. As part of our Recreation team, this position plays an important role in providing water fitness instruction to groups and individuals. Generally, you'll teach a few classes each week, including helping out when a substitute teacher is needed. As a n Aqua Aerobics Fitness Instructor, your duties and responsibilities will include: Providing instruction in a variety of water fitness classes and top notice customer service to patrons Attending mandatory in-service training Providing first aid and emergency rescue as needed We're looking for someone who is knowledgeable in basic water fitness principles and skills. This person should be comfortable leading a group and teaching individuals. We are looking for instructors for our evening classes. Could this be the opportunity for you?
