Certified Pilates Instructor

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate, motivated, reliable, and knowledgeable comprehensively certified Pilates Instructor to join our privately owned boutique Pilates Studio. The ideal candidate is an experienced Pilates Instructor (2 + years of teaching), with a Balanced Body certification or similar. A background in movement, rehabilitation and working with special populations is preferred. This role requires an understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as the ability to design classes and sessions, progressing clients safely through the entire Pilates System on all Equipment, tailoring to individual needs for small group classes, semi-private, and private sessions. Responsibilities Conduct small group classes, private and semi-private sessions, ensuring a safe and effective workout and environment. Educate clients on proper techniques, form and alignment, to enhance their understanding of Pilates. Design customized sessions that cater to various skill levels and fitness goals. Monitor client progress and provide feedback to help them improve their performance. Maintain a clean and organized studio space, ensuring all equipment is in good condition. Qualifications Comprehensive Certification from Balanced Body or other Globally recognized Teacher Training Program In-depth knowledge of physiology and anatomy as it relates to Pilates. Experience in group class instruction, managing different levels and personalities. Familiarity with program design principles for diverse fitness levels. Strong communication skills with the ability to educate clients effectively. Additional background in movement, dance, yoga, a plus A passion for promoting health, wellness, and physical activity within the community.
