The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal training, and specialized knowledge of Pilates, with the ability to design engaging and effective programs tailored to diverse client needs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire clients through innovative movement techniques, combining expertise in anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics to promote overall wellness and fitness progress. We are seeking a Pilates instructor to lead semi-private reformer Pilates sessions with 1-3 clients per class . This role is ideal for an instructor who values precision, individualized coaching, and small group instruction. You will never have a class larger than 3 people, creating a unique highly-personal teaching opportunity for the right candidates. You will be in charge of your schedule and able to be as busy as you choose to be. Responsibilities Lead engaging Pilates Reformer classes for individuals and semi-private groups, ensuring proper technique and safety. Educate clients on body mechanics, anatomy, and physiology to enhance their understanding of movement and prevent injuries. Demonstrate exercises that improve strength, flexibility, posture, and core stability using Pilates equipment. Maintain a positive and motivating environment that encourages client retention and program adherence. Stay current with industry trends in fitness, Pilates techniques, and health sciences to continually enhance class offerings. Assist with fitness assessments and provide guidance on progression for clients at various skill levels. Promote the studio's services through excellent teaching skills and active engagement in fitness sales efforts. Qualifications Certification in Pilates Reformer instruction from an accredited program. Experience or background in group fitness instruction, personal training, or sports coaching. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, body mechanics, and exercise science. Familiarity with other fitness modalities such as Yoga, Cycling, CrossFit, or Dance is a plus. Strong teaching skills with the ability to motivate diverse populations. Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude toward client service. Prior experience working in a gym or health club setting is preferred. Passion for health and wellness with a commitment to ongoing education in fitness trends and techniques.
