This role is ideal for an experienced group fitness coach who wants to grow into leadership, programming, and regional support responsibilities. It is an entry-level leadership position with the opportunity to grow into a much larger role over time. Job Summary The Regional Lead Instructor will serve as the Lead Instructor for the Manalapan location while also supporting regional programming, instructor development, and content creation. This person will report to the Manalapan Manager for daily operations and will also report directly to the Regional Manager for workout programming, coaching support, and special projects. Responsibilities Lead high-energy group fitness classes using THE MAX Challenge programming. Coach and motivate members of all fitness levels. Create a structured, positive, and high-accountability class environment. Demonstrate exercises clearly and provide real-time coaching and form correction. Mentor and develop instructors through observation, feedback, and training. Support instructor hiring, onboarding, and continued development. Assist in creating workout programs and training cycles for multiple locations. Create in-house training videos to help instructors learn and deliver programs effectively. Film and participate in social media marketing videos. Support member engagement, kickoffs, events, and community-building efforts. Help maintain class standards, instructor performance, and overall member experience. Required Qualifications Must be a certified group fitness instructor. Must have 3+ years of experience coaching group fitness. Must have 3+ years of experience writing fitness programs. Must be certified in nutrition. Must have strong leadership presence and the ability to confidently lead a room. Must be comfortable on camera and able to create both marketing and instructional video content. Must have strong communication skills and the ability to coach both members and instructors effectively. CPR/AED certification required or ability to obtain within an agreed timeframe. Schedule and Availability Part-time position. Must have open availability. Must be available to work weekends on a regular basis. Must be flexible to support classes, meetings, filming sessions, kickoffs, and special events as needed. Compensation $18,000 to $30,000 per year, based on experience, qualifications, and role responsibility.
