In this role, you will lead engaging and motivating barre classes that blend elements of ballet, Pilates, yoga, and strength training to help clients achieve their fitness goals. Your passion for movement, combined with your expertise in body mechanics and physiology, will empower participants to improve flexibility, strength, and posture while enjoying a lively workout experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire others through innovative program design and group fitness leadership in a vibrant health club environment. Responsibilities Lead energetic and well-structured barre classes that incorporate dance, Pilates, yoga, and functional movement techniques Demonstrate proper body mechanics and exercise techniques to ensure safety and effectiveness for all participants Design diverse class programs tailored to different fitness levels, emphasizing anatomy knowledge and physiology principles Motivate participants through clear instruction, positive reinforcement, and engaging music to foster a fun workout atmosphere Incorporate complementary skills such as Pilates, Yoga, or cycling to enhance class variety and participant engagement Promote a welcoming environment that encourages group cohesion and individual progress Support gym operations by assisting with client inquiries related to fitness programs and memberships Experience Proven experience teaching group fitness classes, preferably in a gym or health club setting Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, body mechanics, and program design principles Familiarity with disciplines such as Pilates, Yoga, CrossFit, or cycling is highly desirable Previous experience with sports coaching or personal training enhances your ability to tailor workouts effectively Excellent teaching skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of participants Knowledge of fitness sales techniques is a plus for promoting class participation and membership growth Join us as a Barre Instructor and bring your passion for movement to life!
