Job Description

Overview Position Overview Under direct supervision, the Assistant Recreation Leader supports the day-to-day activities that enhance the member experience at the Country Club, including: Assisting with golf outings, leagues, tournaments, and member events Supporting social membership activities and club gatherings Serving as a welcoming presence for members and guests Promoting participation in club-sponsored events This role is less about large-scale recreational programming and more about delivering exceptional service within a social, golf-centered membership environment. Essential Responsibilities Pro Shop & Retail Responsibilities Key components of this position include:
  • Promoting and selling specialty golf merchandise and apparel
  • Providing knowledgeable and enthusiastic customer service
  • Assisting members with product selection and recommendations
  • Processing sales transactions and maintaining accurate receipts
  • Supporting inventory organization and merchandising displays Candidates who are excited about golf equipment, apparel, and specialty retail will thrive in this environment. Membership & Administrative Support
  • Processing memberships and related documentation
  • Entering and maintaining accurate membership data
  • Handling point-of-sale transactions
  • Preparing periodic reports and maintaining records
  • Assisting with daily operational procedures Attention to detail and comfort with data entry systems are important for success in this role.
