Silver Sneakers Group Exercise Instructor (Training Provided)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct fitness classes in various disciplines such as water exercise, cycle, group fitness, SilverSneakers cardio/classic and more.
• Create and lead engaging and effective workouts for participants of all fitness levels.
• Provide personalized attention and modifications to ensure safety and proper form.
• Educate participants on proper body mechanics and exercise techniques.
• Motivate and inspire participants to achieve their fitness goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized workout area.

Qualifications:

• Silver Sneakers instructor certification (training provided)
• Previous experience as a fitness instructor or in a related role preferred but will train.
• Strong knowledge and expertise in various fitness disciplines preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire others.
• Certification in group fitness or specific disciplines is preferred or willingness to obtain certifications at the YMCA's expense We offer competitive compensation and flexible scheduling options.
