In this vibrant role, you will lead engaging group exercise classes that cater to a diverse range of fitness levels and interests. Your passion for fitness, combined with your ability to motivate and educate, will create an empowering environment that encourages members to push their limits and enjoy every workout. Duties Lead energetic group fitness classes such as cardio, strength training, Pilates, yoga, cycling, dancing, CrossFit, and kickboxing, ensuring all participants are engaged and motivated. Design innovative class programs that incorporate principles of physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and program development to maximize safety and effectiveness. Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and modifications tailored to individual needs while emphasizing injury prevention and proper form. Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation from all fitness levels and backgrounds. Promote upcoming classes, memberships, personal training sessions, and fitness programs to enhance member engagement and retention. Maintain equipment safety standards by inspecting gear regularly and ensuring cleanliness after each class. Stay current with industry trends by continuing education in areas such as sports coaching, health club management, or specialized fitness disciplines. Experience Proven experience leading group fitness classes or personal training sessions in a gym or health club environment. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and exercise science principles. Certifications in group fitness instruction or related disciplines such as Yoga, Pilates, Cycling (Spin), or CrossFit are highly desirable. Familiarity with diverse fitness modalities including dance-based workouts, sports coaching techniques, or functional training methods like CrossFit. Excellent teaching skills with the ability to motivate participants of varying skill levels while maintaining safety standards. Prior experience in fitness sales or promoting wellness programs is a plus but not required. Passion for health promotion with a lively attitude that inspires others to reach their fitness potential.
