ABOUT FREEFORM FITNESS
Freeform Fitness is a boutique training studio in Shadyside built around a different idea of what fitness can be. We focus on helping people move better, feel better, and build sustainable strength for life. Our approach combines functional strength training, mobility, recovery, and nervous-system-informed coaching to support long-term health, resilience, and longevity
- not quick fixes, trends, or extreme fitness culture.
Although we have youth programs, our clients are primarily adults 40+, including busy professionals, active older adults, post-rehab populations, and people looking to maintain an active lifestyle for decades to come. Many of our members are rebuilding after injury, chronic stress, pain, or inconsistent fitness experiences. Others are high-performing individuals who want intelligent, balanced coaching that supports their lifestyle rather than consumes it. We work primarily in 1:1 and small-group settings, allowing for individualized attention, meaningful relationships, and truly personalized coaching. Freeform is also deeply community-oriented. We've intentionally created a welcoming, inclusive environment where people from all backgrounds feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged. Personality, communication, and presence matter here just as much as technical skill. This is not a sales-floor gym environment. We value quality coaching, adaptability, professionalism, curiosity, and genuine care for people.
