Feeling Moody LLC is not your average therapy practice. We are a trauma-informed telehealth counseling practice serving Hampton Roads and across Virginia and we bring energy, innovation, and culture to everything we do. Our clients describe us as cool, fun, and refreshingly different. We pair evidence-based clinical services (EMDR, CBT) with a whole-health vision, and we're building something bigger: a wellness ecosystem where mental health meets movement, nutrition, and lifestyle. ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a passionate, Yoga Instructor to join our growing wellness team as a 1099 Independent Contractor. You will lead group yoga sessions designed to complement our clients' therapeutic journeys helping them reconnect with their bodies, reduce stress, and build mindfulness in a safe and supportive environment. This role starts with two group sessions per week: One virtual group session (telehealth) One in-person group session (Chesapeake, VA area) As demand grows, there is real opportunity to expand your hours and impact within the practice.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead group yoga sessions (virtual and in-person) Create a welcoming, affirming, and body-positive environment for all clients Modify poses and sequences to accommodate varying abilities and trauma responses Collaborate with clinical staff to align yoga offerings with client wellness goals Maintain professional boundaries consistent with a clinical wellness environment Submit session documentation (attendance) in a timely manner Bring your unique style and energy. We love creativity here!

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required:

200-hour RYT certification (Registered Yoga Teacher) Experience leading group yoga classes Reliable, professional, and client-focused Comfortable working in both virtual (Zoom/telehealth) and in-person settings Background check required

Preferred:

Experience working in a mental health or clinical wellness setting Trauma-informed or trauma-sensitive training (or willingness to complete it) Training in restorative yoga, yin yoga, or somatic practices Experience with diverse and multicultural populations CPR/First Aid certified

COMPENSATION

$30-$40 per group session (based on experience and credentials) This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position. As a contractor, you are responsible for your own taxes and benefits.
