Job Description
Job Summary Fly Dance Fitness Mt. Pleasant is looking for passionate instructors to join our founding team. If you love music, movement, and making a difference in people's lives, we'd love to meet you. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to teach multiple classes per week as the studio grows. Join us as we bring the Fly Dance Fitness® experience to the Mount Pleasant community and help build an incredible, supportive fitness community from day one. Responsibilities Lead engaging, high-energy 60-minute group fitness classes Learn and perform choreography while coaching and motivating participants Demonstrate strong musicality and teach to the tempo of the music Create playlists using the studio's music library (choreography is provided) Provide a welcoming, inclusive, and judgment-free environment for every member Arrive prepared and on time for classes and studio events Assist with retail sales and member questions as needed Qualifications Passion for dance, fitness, and helping others succeed Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented Strong communication and interpersonal skills Positive attitude with the ability to energize and inspire a room Dance and/or group fitness experience preferred Ability to learn choreography quickly Comfortable leading and motivating groups of all fitness levels Team player with a professional, welcoming attitude
