The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fitness and wellness, with the ability to motivate and educate individuals in various fitness disciplines. This role involves leading group classes, providing personal training sessions, and fostering a supportive environment that encourages members to achieve their fitness goals. A solid understanding of anatomy, body mechanics, and group fitness dynamics is essential for success in this position. Responsibilities Conduct engaging and effective group fitness classes, including but not limited to cycle, HIIT, Yoga, kickboxing, or dance. Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, body mechanics, and safety protocols. Develop personalized fitness plans tailored to individual client needs and goals. Monitor client progress and provide feedback to help them stay motivated. Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the gym environment. Collaborate with other fitness professionals to enhance program offerings. Participate in fitness sales initiatives to attract new members and retain existing ones. Stay updated on the latest trends in fitness and wellness to continuously improve class offerings. Requirements Strong knowledge of anatomy and body mechanics related to exercise. Experience in group fitness instruction or personal training is highly desirable. Proficiency in various fitness modalities such as cycle, kickboxing, dance, or sports coaching. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate clients effectively. Certification from a recognized fitness organization is preferred but not mandatory. A passion for health and wellness with a commitment to helping others achieve their goals. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
