Group Class Coach/Personal Trainer Bishop Arts Fitness Dallas, TX Job Details Contract $25 - $60 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Sports coaching Crossfit Certification CrossFit Teaching Group fitness Full Job Description Group Class Coach & Personal Trainer - Bishop Arts Fitness Bishop Arts Fitness is looking for an experienced coach to lead group classes in a apart time capacity, with the potential to take on Personal Training clients and making a career. This role is for someone who actually coaches movement, not just counts reps. You'll be responsible for coaching quality, teaching sound mechanics, and helping members train safely and effectively. You'll be part of a small team that takes coaching seriously and holds a high standard. Schedule & Pay 3-25 hours per week as your client list grows $25-$60 per class or session (based on the session type) Specifically Friday evening classes (5:15pm and 6:30pm) with the option to take on more classes Opportunity for more hours, pay, and leadership as you grow Who This Is For This role requires CrossFit-style coaching experience or Olympic weightlifting knowledge . You must be comfortable teaching barbell, kettlebell, and dumbbell movements to beginners and correcting movement in a group setting. You also will need to give strategic advice on how to approach a workout to ensure the correct stimulus is hit. We're looking for someone who is: Confident coaching Olympic lifts (snatch, clean, jerk) and foundational barbell movements Focused on movement quality, not ego lifting Professional, coachable, and dependable Genuinely interested in helping people improve long term Required Experience (at least one) 1-3 years coaching group classes CrossFit or adjacent coaching experience or previously teaching Olympic lifting Training certification (CrossFit, NASM, NSCA, ACE, ACSM, USAW, etc.) Typical Responsibilities Coach group fitness classes Coach personal training sessions Teach and enforce proper movement standards Help new members learn lifts safely and confidently Assist with photos/videos for social media (simple, not influencer-level) Meetings with Head Coach, as needed for professional development.
