Wellness Trainer | PRN Allied Health Professionals / Technologists Rehab Wellness
DESCRIPTION

Shift Information:
This position is PRN working as needed by the department.

Monitors vital signs as needed. Performs general equipment and department maintenance. Reports any maintenance or safety issues as needed. Assists to develop and facilitate the client's individualized fitness plan. In addition, provides supervision and training for wellness clients. Assists with collecting and maintaining demographic information as well as attendance and progress records. Serves as instructor for wellness aquatic program.
Preferred Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Skills:
Good interpersonal skills, basic organizational and time management skills. Basic knowledge and skills to care for the physical and development needs of the population age groups that will be receiving services. Basic computer skills.
Preferred Skills:
Bilingual in
Spanish and English Required Licensure/Registration/Certification:
CPR and Personal Trainer Certification
Required Experience:
Experience with fitness training for wellness program
Preferred Experience:
Experience working in a healthcare setting or geriatric population
