Job Description

We are a student-led community initiative focused on providing free American Heart Association (AHA) BLS CPR certification to students and community members. Our goal is to expand access to high-quality CPR training, especially in schools and underserved populations. Role Overview We are seeking currently certified AHA BLS Instructors to assist with teaching CPR classes. Instructors will help lead small-group, hands-on skills sessions and ensure students meet AHA certification standards. This is flexible, per-class work ideal for EMTs, paramedics, nurses, or healthcare students. Responsibilities Assist with teaching
AHA BLS CPR
courses Lead small-group skills practice and testing (approx. 6 students per instructor) Ensure students meet AHA performance and testing requirements Maintain professionalism and a supportive learning environment Requirements Current AHA BLS Instructor certification (required) Reliable, punctual, and comfortable teaching hands-on skills Prior teaching or healthcare experience preferred Compensation $50-$100 per class depending on experience and role Opportunities for ongoing involvement as the program expands Flexible scheduling based on availability Additional Notes This is a mission-driven initiative. While compensation is provided, we are especially interested in individuals who are motivated to improve community health and expand access to lifesaving skills.
