Barshop Jewish Community Center of San Antonio
GROUP EXERCISE INSTRUCTOR
  • PART-TIME/CONTRACT We are seeking a passionate and experienced part-time/contract Group Exercise Instructors to join our team and provide instructor for established classes. The ideal candidate s will possess exceptional instruction skills, strong work ethic, be dependable and have a passion for motivating and inspiring others. Instructors are needed for the following: Cycle
  • 9am on Mondays Pilates Mat
  • 9am Tuesdays, 9am Thursdays, 10am Fridays Barre
  • 8am Tuesdays Aquafit
  • 9am Thursdays Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Teach group classes providing instruction and guidance on proper form and technique.
  • Develop customized lesson plans based on participants' goals, abilities, and fitness levels.
  • Educate participants on the benefits of regular practice.
  • Monitor participants' progress and make adjustments to their programs as needed.
  • Provide modifications and variations to exercises to accommodate different fitness levels and any physical limitations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized studio environment.
Required Qualifications:
  • Current nationally accredited certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of proven experience successfully leading exercise classes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with participants and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Current CPR/AED certification. First Aid certification preferred.
  • Passion for teaching and inspiring others.
