Group Fitness Instructor (Boxing/HIIT)

The Instructor plays a crucial role in facilitating our high-energy, effective group workouts, and ensuring a positive member experience. This position requires a solid understanding of boxing and functional training, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to maintain a clean and organized workout environment. The Trainer is not only an instructor but also an ambassador of our studio's culture. They are expected to deliver outstanding classes, connect with members, and contribute to a clean, inviting workout environment. A successful Trainer is enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to helping members achieve their fitness goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Class Preparation:

Set up necessary equipment and load functional exercises on iPads prior to each class.

Instruction:

Teach a set number of classes, demonstrating exercises and combinations on functional agility sides, thai bags, and tear bags. Provide options and challenges tailored to individual member needs. First Time Experience (FTE)

Instruction:

Guide FTE prospects through 'Boxing Basics' and instruct them on correct hand-wrapping techniques to prevent injury.

Member Engagement:

Connect with members and participate in workouts to encourage class utilization. Promote studio events and have knowledge of studio promotions.

Sales Support:

Assist with membership sales by effectively handing off prospects to front desk staff. Support with FTE sales when necessary.

Studio Maintenance:

Uphold cleanliness in the workout arena, ensure spray bottles are full, towels are available, and the equipment is properly stored. Clean up after each session, leaving the space ready for the next class or day.

Brand Ambassadorship:

Act as a brand ambassador both in and out of the studio, maintaining a positive and professional attitude at all times.

Additional Duties:

Assist with body fat readings and measurements during challenges. Support the Head Trainer with additional duties as needed.

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
