Group Fitness Instructor

We are looking for passionate and people-oriented personal trainers who want to join our mission, impact lives, and grow in their career. At Fit Body Boot Camp, we run group personal training sessions with 1-2 coaches at every single session. This isn't a traditional fitness class. Every session our coaches will correct clients' form, challenge them, push them, and motivate them to get the most out of every single session just like you would in a traditional personal training session. Our coaches speak fluent empathy and understanding and can quickly and naturally form impactful relationships with clients to motivate and guide them both in and out of the gym.

Job description:

Coach must be a rockstar- high energy, passionate about health, someone who brings energy and positivity into every room and makes others feel motivated, important, and welcomed. Coach will be required to coach a minimum of 4 "blocks" (see below) per week.

Session schedule:

Morning block: 5:30am, 6:15am, 7am, 9am Noon block: 12:15pm Evening block: 4:30pm, 5:15pm, 6pm. Coaching a session requires the coach to arrive at the facility at least 20 minutes before the session starts.

Session expectations:

Greet clients at the door by name as they come in (if you don't know their name, learn it) Ensure clients can check in at the iPad Help new clients feel comfortable. Give them an overview of the workout and introduce them to other members. Start every session punctually at the exact start time. As clients warm up, demonstrate the workout of the day on the microphone. Highlight important exercise cues and identify modifying options. During the workout, coach clients on proper form, provide motivation, and countdown sets on the microphone. After the workout, lead clients in a cool down. Be the best 30 minutes of our clients day! Attend weekly team meetings (in person or via Zoom) Engage regularly in members' Facebook group

Requirements:

Preferred:

2+ years training experience, degree in exercise science or related field, training certification (NASM, ACSM, CSCS). Must be a team player— someone who values the mission of changing lives. Hungry to learn and grow in the field of fitness and training. This isn't a place where we do "insta-fitness" exercises that just look cool on social media. We actually value the health and well-being of our clients and that's reflected in the way we coach and program workouts. Must be confident and well-spoken in front of groups of people. The ideal candidate is someone who is high energy, inspiring, motivated, empathetic, humble, and passionate about helping people improve their lives.
