Job Description
Fitness Trainer Quail Park of Lynnwood Have you always wanted a fun and rewarding job? Do you have a passion for working with seniors? Look no further as we currently have an opening for a part-time Fitness Trainer to join our Life Engagement Team! Our Fitness Trainer will provide exercise advice and personalized training for Residents in group classes and one-on-one training.
What You'll Do:
Fitness Trainer Develop, document, and implement one-on-one workout and classes programs that match the needs and goals of residents. Instruct residents on basic exercise physiology and inform them about important safety practices, proper form, lifting, and exercise technique demonstrating as needed. Maintain resident files per industry and state licensing standards. Provide safe and effective spotting techniques to residents. Keep personal training areas and gym organized, clean, and inviting. Direct, provide mentorship and training to subordinate maintenance staffWhat We're Looking For:
Fitness Trainer Extensive knowledge of exercise physiology and kinesiology, safe training procedures, exercise program implementation, and the proper use of cardiovascular, resistance, free weight, and related fitness equipment. Previous experience instructing individuals in a fitness environment and leading classes. Previous experience working with senior a plus! Ability to establish effective relationships with residents, family, and team members. Must possess strong interpersonal skills. Must be ablet to read, comprehend, write, and speak English to effectively communicate with residents, guests and other team members Proficiency in basic computer skills including MS Office Ability to maintain CPR/First Aid credentialsWhat We Offer:
