Full Job Description About Us:
Flex Zone is a dynamic fitness studio dedicated to helping individuals achieve their fitness goals through engaging, high-energy group classes. Our mission is to create a motivating, inclusive environment where members feel empowered and challenged to push their limits. We are located on the east-side of Milwaukee.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Group Class Fitness Instructor to lead high-energy workouts in our Flex Zone. The ideal candidate is passionate about fitness, skilled in coaching, and committed to creating an engaging and supportive atmosphere for participants of all fitness levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and instruct group fitness classes, including but not limited to HIIT, strength training, cardio, mobility, and functional fitness. Demonstrate proper exercise techniques, modifications, and safety guidelines to ensure all participants perform movements correctly and effectively. Motivate and inspire participants to push themselves while maintaining a fun and positive class environment. Personalize coaching to accommodate various fitness levels, ensuring all members feel included and challenged. Set up and break down equipment as needed for classes. Build relationships with members and encourage retention by fostering a supportive community. Stay up-to-date with fitness trends and continuously improve coaching techniques. Adhere to all gym policies, safety procedures, and cleanliness standards.
Qualifications:
Certification in Group Fitness, Personal Training, or a relevant fitness discipline (ACE, NASM, AFAA, ISSA, etc.). CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain). Previous experience leading group fitness classes preferred. Strong communication and leadership skills. Passion for fitness and helping others achieve their goals. Ability to create an engaging and energetic class environment.
