Staff Pharmacist

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A short-term opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist to support the Retail Pharmacy operations in a small, critical access hospital setting in remote Alaska. This assignment offers a unique chance to work in an intimate community hospital pharmacy environment while exploring the beautiful surroundings and lifestyle of Cordova, Alaska during summer.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (with a lunch break from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

Dispense medications and counsel patients at the retail pharmacy window Ensure accurate prescription processing in compliance with hospital policies and state regulations Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize pharmaceutical care Maintain inventory and support daily pharmacy operations

Qualifications and Experience:

Active Alaska pharmacist license required Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree mandatory Minimum of 2 years professional experience as a pharmacist
