This role requires a professional with at least one year of hospital pharmacy experience to efficiently support pharmacy operations, including standard hospital orders and product verification.

Location:

Ester, Alaska Schedule/Hours:

8-hour shifts with start times between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM Variable days including weekends Holiday shifts as needed, typically 4-5 hours Shift patterns arranged to avoid late/early turnarounds (e.g., no 11 AM shift followed by 7 AM shift)

Responsibilities:

Verify and process hospital pharmacy orders accurately Maintain compliance with hospital pharmacy protocols Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use Participate in holiday and weekend staffing as required

Qualifications:

Minimum 1+ year of pharmacist experience in a hospital setting Familiarity with standard hospital pharmacy orders and product verification processes Experience with Cerner electronic health records preferred Current Alaska pharmacist license or temporary AK license accepted Candidates without an active AK license at submission must apply for the license within 24 hours of offer acceptance
