Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A short-term opportunity is available to provide pharmacy services in a small, critical access hospital retail pharmacy located in remote Alaska. This assignment involves working at the retail pharmacy window to support essential medication dispensing and patient care.

Location:

Tatitlek, AK (working at a facility in Cordova, AK) Experience the unique lifestyle and natural beauty of small-town Alaska during the summer months.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM with a one-hour lunch break (1:00 PM to 2:00 PM)

Duration:

7 weeks starting June 1st

Responsibilities:

Dispense medications accurately and efficiently at the retail pharmacy window Counsel patients on proper medication use and safety Manage medication inventory and maintain compliance with regulations Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications:

Active Alaska pharmacist license Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree Minimum of 2 years' pharmacy experience Strong communication and customer service skills
