Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A healthcare facility in Peridot, AZ is seeking experienced pharmacists to fulfill critical roles within their pharmacy clinic. This contract opportunity offers a 13+ week assignment with flexible shift options including days, nights, swings, and weekends. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week, designed to provide work-life balance. Two positions are available for outpatient pharmacists, alongside one inpatient/ER pharmacist role. The inpatient/ER position requires ACLS certification; PALS certification can be obtained on-site during the first month of employment. Candidates must have hospital experience and proficiency in pharmacy systems such as ScriptPro with SP200 Robot, RPMS Electronic Health Record, and must be adaptable to a forthcoming new EHR system.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with professional, regulatory, and governmental standards Develop and monitor operational and financial metrics aligned with quality improvement initiatives Formulate and assess pharmacy policies and procedures for effectiveness Lead continuous process improvement and staff performance development Manage purchasing, inventory control, and data accuracy within dispensing systems Facilitate staff training and professional growth through targeted learning opportunities Prepare monthly reports highlighting operational status and areas for improvement Engage in department orientation, training, and quality assurance activities Participate in ongoing educational programs to maintain competencies
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred) including 1-year residency Minimum five years of professional pharmacy experience including two years in management Current and unrestricted pharmacy license; Arizona license preferred BLS certification required within 30 days of hire Ability to successfully pass background and drug screening This contract role is ideal for pharmacists seeking diverse clinical experience in a supportive, evolving environment.
