We are looking to add a Per-Diem Pharmacist to our Phoenix Arizona team! SUMMARY Nutrishare is responsible for a wide range of services to patients. The operation is specialized and responsible for sterile preparations, parenteral nutrition, and supplies for long-term home care patients. Provides superior products and clinical services in a time manner by dispensing prescribed medications, drugs, and other pharmaceuticals and supplies for consumer care by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned either verbally or in writing.
  • Provides Nutrition Support (NS) related information and consults with physicians, nurses, dentists, and other healthcare professionals as necessary.
  • Reviews prescriptions issued by Physician, or other authorized prescriber to assure accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients needed.
  • Comprehensively monitors patients receiving Parenteral Nutrition Support (PNS) by maintaining and reviewing the entire available medical record of the patient in progress notes, MD orders, labs, etc.
  • Maintain best-in-class patient satisfaction by quickly responding to all patient needs and concerns.
  • Identifies metabolic complications in consumers and takes action to resolve them.
  • Coordinates pharmacy services.
  • Consults, answers questions, and provides information to Nutrishare consumers on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage of pharmaceuticals.
  • Maintains established procedures concerning quality assurance
  • Directs pharmacy staff engaged in mixing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals.
  • Enters data such as patient name, prescribed medications and administration instructions, and cost to maintain pharmacy files, charge system, and inventory into the Pharmacy software.
  • Participates in regularly scheduled department meetings, including quality assurance, Safety, and morning rounds.
  • Follow established policies and procedures.
  • Other duties may be assigned at any time via verbal or written instructions.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees pharmacy technician and warehouse staff as required under the duties of a pharmacist. Qualifications EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
Fifth year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be a registered RPh or Pharm
D. LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, consumers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumferences, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current Pharmacy License with respective State Board of Pharmacy; Multiple additional state licenses will be required as determined by Nutrishare executives and operational need. Verification of continuing education units as required by the state board of pharmacy.
Pay:
$65.00
