Compounding Pharmacist Location:
Greater Phoenix Area, AZ (Onsite) We are seeking an experienced Compounding Pharmacist to join a growing pharmacy operation focused on customized medication solutions and exceptional patient care. This is an onsite opportunity for a pharmacist who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and has hands-on experience with compounded medications. Key Responsibilities Prepare and verify non-sterile compounded medications according to physician prescriptions and established procedures. Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance throughout the compounding process. Counsel patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and treatment plans. Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations, HIPAA requirements, and pharmacy best practices. Work closely with pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure efficient workflow and patient service. Monitor and manage medication, ingredient, and supply inventory. Maintain accurate documentation and pharmacy records.
Required Qualifications Must Have:
_ Arizona. _ _ California. _ Recent experience in non-sterile compounding . Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, compliance, and patient counseling. Experience working with pharmacy technicians in a team-based environment. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in compounding pharmacy settings. Experience supporting high-volume prescription fulfillment operations. Familiarity with customized medication formulations.
