This role will serve as an internal regulatory and operational consultant responsible for strengthening warehouse controls, ensuring ongoing compliance with applicable Board of Pharmacy regulations, and supporting operational efficiency initiatives across the organization. This is a full-time, in-office position operating during regular business hours, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will work closely with leadership and operational teams onsite to oversee compliance standards, warehouse controls, and regulatory processes critical to maintaining our Board of Pharmacy licenses. The ideal candidate will have experience working within regulated healthcare distribution environments and possess strong knowledge of pharmacy licensing requirements, inventory controls, storage standards, quality systems, and compliance oversight. This individual will play a key role in helping the company maintain and protect its state Board of Pharmacy licenses while supporting scalable operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Serve as the company's internal subject matter expert for Board of Pharmacy compliance requirements in Arizona and/or California. Advise leadership on operational controls, regulatory risk mitigation, and best practices related to pharmaceutical and healthcare product distribution. Evaluate and improve warehouse processes, inventory controls, storage conditions, handling procedures, documentation practices, and traceability systems. Ensure compliance with applicable state Board of Pharmacy regulations, FDA requirements, and distributor licensing obligations. Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of SOPs, quality systems, and compliance documentation. Conduct periodic internal audits and compliance reviews to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions. Assist in preparing for state inspections, audits, and licensing renewals. Collaborate crossfunctionally with Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership teams. Provide guidance on controlled operational workflows to support efficient and compliant distribution practices. Monitor regulatory updates and proactively recommend operational adjustments as needed. Support employee training initiatives related to compliance, inventory handling, and warehouse controls. Qualifications Active Pharmacist license in Arizona and/or California required. Minimum 3 years of experience in pharmacy operations, healthcare distribution, medical device, pharmaceutical, or FDAregulated environments. Strong working knowledge of Board of Pharmacy regulations, warehouse controls, and distributor licensing requirements. Strong analytical, organizational, and problemsolving skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities with the capability to influence operational improvements across departments. Preferred Experience Familiarity with FDAregulated products, quality systems, SOP management, and audit readiness. Experience supporting regulated distribution facilities, inventory management systems, and compliance programs. Experience in medical device or dental industry environments is preferred. Experience supporting wholesale distributor licensing or thirdparty logistics operations. Experience participating in Board of Pharmacy inspections or regulatory audits. Background in operational efficiency, process improvement, or compliance program development.
