Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A specialty clinical oncology pharmacist position is open for a contract opportunity at a leading outpatient oncology infusion center located at the Santa Monica Campus. This role is ideal for pharmacists with a strong background in oncology and infusion therapies seeking day shifts Monday through Friday, with variable hours between 7am and 6pm.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, verify, and dispense chemotherapy and oncology medications in an outpatient infusion setting. Collaborate closely with the oncology care team to ensure safe and effective medication management for cancer patients. Utilize Epic electronic health records for medication ordering, documentation, and communication. Monitor patient therapies for adverse effects and efficacy, providing clinical recommendations as appropriate. Maintain compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards specific to oncology pharmacy services.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of 2 years recent clinical infusion oncology pharmacy experience, preferably in an outpatient or infusion center setting. Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records system required. Strong understanding of oncology chemotherapy regimens, protocols, and patient counseling. Ability to work independently and efficiently within a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, day shifts with start times varying between 7am and 6pm.
