• Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacy technician to support inpatient pharmacy operations in the Anaheim, CA area.

This contract role begins with full-time hours for approximately one month and transitions to a PRN position. Ideal candidates will be local to the Los Angeles area and comfortable working flexible shifts.

Responsibilities include:

Performing IV compounding to prepare sterile admixtures in compliance with safety and quality standards Accurately filling and managing Pyxis automated medication dispensing systems Assisting pharmacists with order entry using the Paragon/Allscripts system Supporting daily inpatient pharmacy functions with attention to detail and regulatory adherence Collaborating with pharmacy staff across rotating shifts, including weekends

Qualifications:

Current and valid California Pharmacy Technician license required Proven experience with IV compounding procedures Proficiency in operating Pyxis medication automation systems Strong knowledge of inpatient pharmacy processes and protocols Ability to work rotating shifts between 7:30 am to 8:30 pm on weekdays and 8:00 am to 4:30 pm on weekends

Shift Schedule:

Rotating shifts between 7:30 AM

• 4:00 PM and 12:00 PM
• 8:30 PM on weekdays Weekend shifts 8:00 AM
• 4:30 PM (Saturday and Sunday) This role supports a 117-bed inpatient facility averaging 44 patients daily, providing vital pharmacy services.
