• Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract This position offers a dynamic opportunity for a Licensed Pharmacy Technician to support inpatient pharmaceutical services within a well-established healthcare facility.

The role begins with full-time hours for about one month and subsequently transitions to a flexible, PRN schedule, ideal for local candidates seeking both stability and adaptable work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform IV compounding adhering to strict safety and quality standards. Manage medication dispensing and restocking through Pyxis automation systems. Collaborate within a team to support daily inpatient pharmacy operations. Accurately enter medication orders in the Paragon/Allscripts system. Maintain compliance with state pharmacy regulations and facility protocols.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Active California Pharmacy Technician license is required. Experience with IV compounding and aseptic techniques. Proficiency in using Pyxis automated dispensing systems. Familiarity with order entry systems, preferably Paragon/Allscripts. Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends.

Location:

Position is based in the Anaheim, CA area, catering to nearby communities.

Schedule and Coverage:

Full-time commitment (40 hours/week) for approximately four weeks. Shift rotations typically between 7:30 AM

• 4:00 PM, 12:00 PM
• 8:30 PM, and weekend shifts from 8:00 AM
• 4:30 PM.

Following the initial period, the role transitions to PRN, providing flexible scheduling based on departmental needs.
